





Andres Pereira – Candidate for the Harris County 190th Civil District Court
Andres is answering the call to serve our community and use his extensive legal and
public service experience as a caring, disciplined and fair judge for the people of Harris
County.
Andres Pereira – Legal Advocate
Andres, an attorney for twelve years with Fleming & Associates, LLP, a nationally known
litigation firm, has successfully represented the interests of thousands of individuals and
families, small and medium-size businesses, professional organizations, and
governments. Andres has practiced in both state and federal courts, and has argued
cases before juries, state and federal courts of appeals, and the Texas Supreme Court.
Andres is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and South Texas College of
Law, where he was a member of the Order of Lytae and received the American
Jurisprudence Award for academic excellence in legal research and writing. During law
school, he served as an intern for former Texas Supreme Court Justice Lloyd Doggett.
Andres is a member of the Texas State Bar, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the
Houston Trial Lawyers Association.
Andres Pereira – Public Servant
Andres has served our community for nearly twenty years through volunteerism and civic
involvement. He began organizing at the grassroots in Houston with the late Billie Carr
and was a staff member for the late Governor Ann Richards during her successful 1990
gubernatorial campaign. Andres has assisted the campaigns of numerous local elected
officials, including Harris County Commissioner Sylvia Garcia, Houston City Controller
Annise Parker, and Houston City Council Member Sue Lovell.
